ebay test pipes

theese are cheeper but do they do they give the same performance?

Most likely they're fine. A test pipe is just a pipe with flanges on it. The only issue you might have (and I saw this with some downpipes and testpipes in the Z world), is that the fitment may or may not be good. Some guys bought them for their Zs and they lined up perfectly, but others said that the angles weren't right and they had trouble getting them to fit. Seems like it was hit or miss. But you'll probably be OK. You may find that the eBay ones are made with thinner metal or the welds aren't as high a quality though. Something to keep in mind at any rate. Power wise though, if they're the same diameter, chances are they'll make the same power.

sorry for this question in advance if it sounds dumb. But all the tp on ebay say for 1.8 engines. will they still fit a 2.8? i have a milltek exhaust but want something to bring the exhaust to life. Thanks.

no, the 1.8T test pipe is only for 1.8Ts.

a 3" pipe is a 3" pipe no matter where you get it, just make sure it doesnt look like its made outta wood lol

same here, been thinking of getting a TP from ebay, i did a search here in the forums,
andi saw a few people got it on ebay from the seller velocitymotoring. I have saved on my ebay,
just saving $ to get chip and some other stuff like a TP.
