Default ecs different maf's??

I need a new MAF for my ride...

My car has been under performing for a while now and its stopped throwing codes BUT...

I did a MAF graph with a vag com buddy and at full throttle redline I was only reading 55 from the MAF...

When it should be in the 120 to 130 range... so that = new MAF

my question is on ecs how come this MAF for the ATW 00 engine is so much cheaper than the oem or remanufactured one??

anyone have any experience with it??

Cheap MAF

thanks

happy 06

My car came with an 8 year extended engine warranty. its an 01.5 from a dealer, but i purchased it, warranty included from a non audi dealership. Would i be covered? im at 59,98x mi. No problems with mine, just curious.

I have a question about the MAF... Is it a part that either works 100%, or fails.. Or is it a part that can sometimes be funky like coil packs and the performance of it is sometimes there and sometimes not???? Hope you understand what im tryin to say.

As far as I know ..and from a letter from audi I printed out..MAFs and emissions based parts are covered only up to 70000mi in which I have 71000mi..so Im over

and if so anyway...if the dealership charges $50...thats only $5 less than the one on ecs...??

which is what I had the question about...

if the warrenty is 80k any proof??

call your local dealership and ask them. i am pretty sure its either 70 or 80k.

if they are nice they might let you slide even though your 1k miles above the 70k.

but check anyway.

Usually the platinum wire inside breaks.
