my friend ordered the ecs tunning stage 1clutch kit for his 2000 passat B5 1.8t, heres the link:

hes paying me to put the clutch in so today i was looking at the clutch kit and notices a shim/washer. now ive done the clutch on my 1999 2.8q A4 and i never got this "shim", pleae note that i stayed with the two peice flywheel. my question is, does the shim go between the flywheel and crank, or between the flywheel bolts and flywheel? again, ive never done a clutch on a 1.8t cluch let alone a single piece flywheel conversion. i was hoping you guys with 1.8t's can help me as this is the same clutch kit for the fwd A4's.

also, can someone please tell me the torque specs on the flywheel and pressure plate. thanks for your help
