wut r the best chips for a 1.8t and also how much horse power can a stock 1.8t transmission take before blowing

 

GIAC and APR are best for B5 models. It helps if you list your yr/engine/tranny type when asking questions. Tiptronic cant handle more than about 250 hp/tq unless you upgrade to a level10 valve body upgrade, and the stock manual tranny would need a beefier clutch to handle about that same power. Its not really the hp that affects the tranny, the tq is the killer.

A chip that some ofmy bodys are having good luck with are the ECS, the APR, and the FIXX Tuning chips. All Are good
