Will the GIAC chip still help me produce power for my 99.5 1.8tq when i upgrade from a K03 turbo to a Garrett T3??
Will i have to upgrade the ecu once again? If i have to, what is a good company to roll with? I'm trying to getting between 280-300hp out the car.

Basically, will the chip react to a FPR and fuel injector upgrade?

 

I'm sure GIAC (if you have a local dealer) could custom tune it so it will work but i would recommend getting Unitronic for your bt file, it is such a nice tune and they probably have a tune already for the T3 turbo where GIAC doesn't.

haha, have you had problems here in the past or what?

 

do not use the chip with the new turbo. get a new chip from unitronics, ctapp, or dyno tune it

 

dyno tune it on a factory ecu bro???
