Has anyone heard of being able to reprogram the ecu to use the tt's 225 hp program?? I heard it could be done but dont know if its true and if it can be done what does it take other than a laptop and some program?

from what I understand that extra power come from the diff config of the engine in the engine bay resulting in better airflow to intercoolers and such, the A3 and A4 programs have simmilar diffes in power incress.

 

Also the TT has a bigger turbo (k04). A4's use the k03.

 

TT actually uses a ko4-025. This is turbo can flow alot more air than just a regular ko4-015.

 

Not sure that the K04-25 flows more air, or just has different inlet configuration for a transverse engine

 

Oh it definetly flows more air, the exhaust side is bigger. I almost tried to homebrew the ko4-025. It can flow 300hp on perfect tune.

 

*gasp!* lies...if this is so thats my power goal...where can i get one with the proper tuning and whatnot?

 

I can get u one, but i wouldnt suggest it.The only reason i was thinking about it is cuz i was getting the turbo for free. Def not the best choice to make 300hp. It has the similair flow rates to the gt28r and t28. Just no tuning. I have a friend that ran low 13s with the ko4-025 with a dahlback tune.
