Does anyone know how to install a Varad Aero dashboard scanner on a 99.5 A4 1.8T FWD??? I have been looking for awhile and cant find any DIYs on it. ( i dont have an aftermarket alarm). Is it possible to do the whole thing through the fuse box? or do i need to do it to the battery?

 

just follow the wires that are powering the cigarette lighter... pull out the instrument cluster run the wire behind the stereo and everything else down to it and tap into it... all you need is to power it right...?

edit: you can tap into wires anywhere all you need to do is tap into anythign thats powered.. since ur asking on here you obviously have no idea how electronics work i would just take it to car toys or any car electronics shop and have them do it before you mess anything up

 

But never tap into your main line going to the fuse box or you will have a melt down of sorts
