Default electrical issue

Hi,

Today, when I started up my car today, I noticed that my trip odometer had "ln 1" which is awkard. After driving it for a minute, the regular trip odometer mileage came back. What the hell is wrong with the electricity on Audis?!

Thanks!

Yeah I think it is oil change is LN 1 and full on crazy stuff with LN 2

Apparently they only programmed that code up to 100000 miles, mine stopped that crap a long time ago.

ln1 and ln2 are service interval indicators...once you're out of warranty they're pretty much useless...you can reset it with a vag-com, or you can just ignore it.

btw, calia4, are you the guy that wanted my old 3-spoke steering wheel? i couldn't find the old pm's, but i remember they were from santa cruz...i still have it if you're still interested
