Hi I just purchased a 96' 2.8 a4 quattro with a number of problems. My side mirrors wont move and my a/c fan only works when it wants to. I noticed that when I put my key in before starting it, I will hear the seat belt "ding". When this happens my a/c works. And when I do not hear the "ding" my a/c will not come on at all; no matter what fan setting I have it on. What is the problem here. Also a few bulbs behind me instrument cluster are out. What is going on here??

the first thing you want to do is either purchase a vag-com cable or find someone who has one in your area on this site...auto-scan your car and write down any error codes it finds...
