electronics

Default electronics

I have heard from a friend that electronics in audi a4's are a pain in the *** and really easy to **** up. Does anyone else have problems with the electronics or is my friend jsut a dumbass

hes deff right. the cars are finiky when it comes to wiring. u cant just tap into somewhere. i found this out when doin my nx ntercooler. if u want to run any accessories it has to straight from the battery. atleast that was my experience

i beg to differ...i JUST like...2 nights ago installed some strobe lights...and they were a piece of cake...if anone needs instructions on how ti wire lights...or hardwire a radar detector..give me a ring..

Ya the only electrical problem I've seen so far is with the climate control. Now if you were talking about E36 BMW's, ya those have some electrical issues (Ones that cause them to start on fire in the trunk)... even thought they are little fixes you can do in a day.

im not talking about stuff jsut breaking, im talking about like wiring stuff in yourself like systems and ****.

You made a comment about climate control electronic issues.......... My '03 A4 is cycling it's RecirculationFlap Motor and it's Central Air Flap Motor approx once per 1.5 seconds even with the key out of the ignition. This has gone on for months now and I've finally had to replace the battery. Sound familiar??
