I have the rs setup from atp, I like it. The software is not the greatest, atp doesnt take full advantage of what they can do. The car runs a little rich, which doesnt bother me, because it is better than running lean. As time goes on, companies will start coming out with better software, too. Right now though, you just gotta rough it out. I dont think any of the current software is all that much better than atps.

Well since your car is transverse, im thinking install will be different?

hmmm... im guessing on the 2871R you could pull out 315WHP, the GTRS you could pull out.. 260-270WHP, and the GT2X would put you at... 215/220WHP ....this is ALL dependant on tuning/boost/ other mods....

If i were you, I would get the GTRS atleast a 250-270WHP GTI is fast...

... ATP Turbo's B6 put down 268whp with the GT2X with stock Catalytic Conveter, stock Exhaust, stock Intake, stock Intercooler... Stock everything. 268whp.

Which is exactly why I'm going with the GT2X. Cheap, stealthy, and effective. Not to mention ATP's B6 was running 13.3s all day long with stock clutch. Just something to think about.

This is probably the best kit for you. It sounds like you just want a quick reliable nice car, and you have your civic on the side to tear up the streets with. But for this guy, I say go with the 71r. I have the rs, and I am already bored with it. I have cat delete and intake on the way, but it still wont be enough. You will be happier in the end I believe. And with the 71 w/ the new mani, spool starts around 3k, which is perfect for a daily driver. Still not enough lag for me though.....maybe the gt3071r? That would be really nice.

very well put, and i agree 100%!

the one to get (for the FWD's especially) is the 2871R .. one GTI with the Unitronic software pulled a 290whp dyno @18psi on pump gas and 93oct! [8D]

oh, and myk3.. even though we still havent gotten up the VW stuff yet, we're selling the same kits (look at the TT180FWD package to see price, and what's included + S4 fuel pump) for your car also..

If you got those numbers from ATPs site which it seems like you did you are going to have a very hard time making that power.
