Awesome gotta love the free mods. Just curious if you tried leaving the gasket and battery/ecu cover in to see what the temps were like as opposed to taking it out. I am going to give this one a try also. I would prefer to leave the cover on but if air doesnt flow as good, ohwell.

Well, that's what I thought too, but the cover that goes over the battery has holes all over it by design. I carry it with me in the back hatch, so if it gets too wet out I'll just put it back on. Haven't seen you on in a while, what's new? Are you still selling your Audi?

 

1.8t20v, I have not actually had the computer hooked up and gotten readings with the vent cut out and the battery cover and seal on, but I should do that to see which part is, or if both are responsible for the lower numbers. Good call.

 

I wonder what the effect would be with an intake and your mod. I know intakes aren't really that great on our audi's but just wondering.
