Default engine problem: misfire

this question is for a 1996 2.8 A4

ok so i recently had a problem with the rpms jumping and the car shaking etc.. i had a CEL and two codes came up and one was something to do with the EGR valve which i replaced 3 days ago. the other was a misfire. As well as replacing the EGR valve i replaced all vaccum lines. this fixed the CEL and all the problems i was having with acceleration lag etc etc... but when i start my car it still shakes on start up a little. the rpms are idling a little over 1k , its not a constant shake just on and off, not too violent either just noticable. once it warms up the shake is gone, and the rpms idle at about 300-500. so im thinking this is either 1. spark plugs. 2. spark plug wires 3. coil pack??? thats all i can think of right now any help would be appreciated. also i just replaced all spark plug wires with bosche wires today and the shake is still there. next step im gonna replace all of the spark plugs, hopefully i dont have to replace the coil packs.

so once again any help appreciated im just looking to see if anyone has had this problem before? and what to do to fix it.

thanx!

X2 on the code check... your coils may be bad, but post the codes so we know what's going on.
