OK, so check this out you guys....

I drove home, still seemed a little off.

Then I drove to the store, and had a few places to play around. She seems to be getting back to her old self. I.E. she's got ***** again!
So, I guess the ECU reset just took a little while to adjust.

I have driven a total of about 40 miles since the reset, and as far as I can tell, after the last trip, she is feeling much better.

I guess I did not notice the difference the last time. Actually, then I had just bought the car and removed the battery cables to clean the terminals. I didn't notice the performance difference then.

So, the ECU seemed to need a few miles to adjust to my heavy foot. Now when I hit it hard, the seat gives me a hug, just the way she used to. I hope this doesnt sound weird. Really I am married with 4 kids, so I guess you need to fantasize somehow.

Anyway, arif and 1.8, I still want to hook up with you guys and have you convince me as to why I NEED a vagcom. maybe we can take a look anyway? Thanks everyone!

OK, I didn't know that!

I am an impatient MO FO!

I just want my power back!!!

Now I have it!

Jeff, I saw your dyno sheet, I like what I am seeing there. Is the car reliable for a Daily driver? Is that how you use it?

Thanks! P.S. are you a skier? I would love to live in Denver.

maybe your intercooler pipe wasnt the only thing that popped off...maybe something else did at the same time....and what kinda clamps are you using?? maybe there is a little slit in one of the clamps..
