I took my car to the body shop last week, and my CD player worked fine. I know, because I turned it off just as I parked it to drop the car off. I picked it up today, a week later, and my stereo is giving me an ERR3 code. I'm pretty sure this means that it can't load CDs, so I took a look at the changer in the trunk. The magazine won't eject unless the eject button is held for 5 - 10 seconds. All of the CDs are out of the changer, but when I re-load the magazine, the player won't load CDs.

Why would this happen while my car was dropped off? I don't think the stereo went into 'safe mode' because the radio still works.

The shop did a really nice job on my paint, and I don't want to blame them... but I'd swear on my life that everything was fine before I dropped it off with them.
