They are OEM valeos. Hard to find. Ecodes is the most similar to stock.

Ecodes are expensive but not hard to find. lltek, ecstuning, awetuning just to name a few.

are the ones you guys mentioning have the fog light built into it all as 1 piece? is the valeos from like a 99.5 stock or newer a4? or are they aftermarket

Valeo is the company that made the one-piece headlights during the b5 refresh in 99.5. So when people say Valeo housings that can be synomnous with OEM housings (at and after 99.5). The one-piece does not have the fog lights built in, they were removed and in place the foglights were moved to the lower left and right grilles.

or just go with no fogs, either way works.

if i get new headlights i can sell my old ones to this kid that wants em for his 98 2.8 and theyll fit rite?

If you have a pre-facelift car, and he does too, and you mean sell him your OEM two-piece lights, yes, they'll fit without modification.
