ah, so the AWE kit that spools slower than a GT28rs and makes about 25-50hp less than a full 28r would. i see

that from everything i have seen, the AWE kit is crap. they detune it first of all.. and they use the stock exhaust manifold that not only makes it spool slower than a larger, more powerfull GT28rs, but it flows horribly up top. giving it less peak power/torque then a GT28r would on a ATP log manifold with better software

yeah, i have a lot of ideas. but you weren't replying back yesterday which makes it hard to tell you them..

first off, realize that 300Awhp out of a 1.8t daily is not going to last long. basically you're going to blow a hole through your block with a rod sooner or later. the worst the tune you have, the sooner it will happen

but if you're aiming for 300Awhp, you're not going to do it with a GT28r.

you'll need at least a GT28rs. and you're only going to hit 300+Awhp with 100+ octane and at 24psi.. or a mixture of pump gas and water/meth injection..

but on pump gas and about 20psi you'll be around 250ish Awhp with a GT28rs.

with a GT2871r, pump gas, and 20psi you'll be around 280ish Awhp

the GT28RS is good for a daily driver in my opinion. it's what i run on my car. of coarse with any BT you're putting a lot of stress on the car that wasn't meant to be there. so expect problems here and there. anything from intercooler hoses popping off, to a blown motor..

but a strong running GT28RS car on race gas can do 12.5 with a good driver and a good track. low 13s on pump gas
