Engineered to flow MORE air for MORE power. It's that simple. Just like an asthmatic relying on an inhaler to breathe easier, our Induction Systems will "decongest" your engine to allow more air intake with less restriction. All EVO induction components undergo countless hours of research and development with extensive dynamometer and "real world" testing prior to manufacturing and distribution. Average gains are approximately 5-8% over stock. Often imitated but never duplicated- there is only one EVO Air Induction System. Currently over 40 systems for Porsche®, Audi® and VW® in stock.

I had an lltek which was basically the same, I installed it, it made a lotta noise (the noise a lotta ppl like..i dont) but there was a def loss in performance in the summer. It sucks in too much air, its about the same performance wise before the engine heats up, but once it gets heatsoaked there is a definite loss in power. I wish I had my vag-com then because I'm pretty sure the iat's where much much higher. I ended up modding my, routing it down behind the foglight, and then it didnt get heatsoaked, but gains where still minimal if any

Tom what are you talking about ?
You are saying you notice power loss with the intake in the summer more so then without it ?
Im confused. I notice a huge difference in power when it is cold out , as opposed to a hot summer day.
I was hoping the cold air intake would help on those hot days.

yeah... but that has nothing to do with the CAI and airbox difference. The airbox is taking in cold air (though minimal) from a safe location. The CAI is open to all elements... including heat from your turbo. Therefore, unless you mod it as Tom has, you will actually be taking in worse air intake than the airbox. Though you're taking in more air... you're not necessarily taking in BETTER air. Hot air sucks
Also consider though.... modding your CAI as Tom as opens your intake to the outside elements, running serious risk of hydrolocking your engine...

^^Exactly, during the summer there was a very noticable loss once heatsoaked, in the winter the loss wasnt as noticable. And yes if I went through a big flood with my modded intake, it would hyrdolock the motor so be careful if you go that route
