I installed mine last week... sounds different but not really noticable gains. Looks alittle nicer than OEM air box

I had a EVO MS CAI before, it didnt really do anything but add the sound for the 710N I put on. Actually I put my stock one back on b/c my Ignition Control Module burned out and I attribute it to the CAI. My theory is, since the ICM is mounted on the stock airbox, it receives an ample amount of airflow to assist in cooling it. After installing the EVO CAI, the ICM just basically hangs out in the open-not having the airflow it would normally have with the OEM airbox. I attribute this lack of airflow to the failing of my IAC-a $460 fix(yes I now know I got screwed) I had the CAI on for about 4 months. I may be totally wrong, but it is a believable theory if you ask me. ANy thoughts on this? Anyone else have IAM probs with the aftermarket CAI.

I hate how the engine bays in these things are so cramped. That air filter looks like a pain in the *** to replace.

Haha try replacing the cat, but anyways there is no noticable gains with the CAI so why bother. Chip, exhaust, and DV and be done with it unless you want to seriously mod it.
