I just purchased my EVO intake system and was wondering if anyone out there who has installed one has any tips or comments on the EVO intake system. I am getting ready to install it in a couple of days (when it gets here).

 

Try searching for "intake" on this forum or "Evo". Its probably the best intake for the 1.8T.

 

there was one on my car when i bought it but i took it out because no matter what i did it would not sit far enough back that it wouldn't either push out the headlight or rubb on it so i said hell with it and out it went, it got replaced with the abd racing intake that is bent down so the filter hangs upside down below the headlight and it came with a much better heat shield.
