K&N intake system..?
Hey just wondering if any of you guys have a K&N intake system. I saw this http://www.procarparts.com/store-det...=onlinestoreDB
but it seems awfully cheap and im not sure if the intake system itself is K&N or if just the filter is....
when i look on K&N's site it says my car would need this http://www.knfilters.com/search/prod...x?Prod=57-0515
i was wondering if anyone who has an authentic K&N intake system could tell me where you bought it from and for how much

that wouldn't be a fake K&N, not from ProCar parts. you would see some gains from that kit, I personally see nothing wrong with it. the only hitch you might run into is having to give the MAF a little convincing to get in and maybe some of the clamps. but all in all... i don't see procarparts selling a product that wouldn't fit. give it a try, that price alone is a good price for a K&N cone filter
i have that kit. i didnt see any hp gains but it sounds cool under the hood. everything fits perfect and the MAF is just left alone the kit uses the exsisting MAF mount. ull need to buy a heat shield though because with that kit all ull be sucking is hot air. i got one like this http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/AIR-I...01839395QQrdZ1 it works great. i also put some dynamat heatshield stuff on the shield and tube. i dont know if this makes a diff but i would like to think it does.
o and the only part of that kit thats made by k&n is the filter. but thats ok a tube is a tube.
