Exhaust Advice...
Hey guys wassup??..
As you can tell im new to the forum.. i currently own a 2002 A4 1.8T with only a carbonio cold air (love it) so far performance wise.. im only 18 so money is kind of an issue lol.. exterior ive got 15% tint on the back 5 & 35% in the front 2 & just recently got a set of 18x8 Konigs with a set of 235/40R18 Yokohamas to go with it..
I guess ive got a decent start but im lookin to continue to put LOTS of mods to this car cuz i lovee it..
First question ive got for you guys.. Anyone with suggestions on what to do with exhaust, feel free to give me as much info as you want lol.. basically lookin for quality obviously & if possible a nicee sounding 4 cylinder growl (cant stand those ricers haha).. My top 3 considerations so far include Borla, Magnaflow, & APR sooo...
What do you think???

RE: Exhaust Advice...
Ill add that i was thinkin of just replacing the entire exhaust as opposed to just new mufflers or w/e cuz ive got 80,000 miles on my ride so new pipes and what not couldnt hurt i suppose lol...

Check out Labree Motorsports they have some good full exhaust systems for audi. They will also run you cheaper than the other exhaust you were looking at. http://www.labreemotorsports.com

First thing I'd do is some preventive maintenance.
Brakes OK? When was the last time the fluid was changed. If over two years, change it.
Power steering fluid? Put in some fresh Pentosin 11S
You are at 80K miles. Time to start saving up for a timing belt.
When was the last time the transmission gear oil was changed? Change it. If you have quattro, change all the other oil too.
Keep 1K in the bank for unexpected brakedowns or other issues.
No sense having a nice car that you can't afford to keep running.
Then get a chip.

Truee.. brakes i got new pads & rotors bout 5k miles ago so i should be good there..
As far as fluids go ill have to double check that i took my car to an audi dealership at 75K miles for that particular check-up cuz i got a bud who works there so figured let the pros check it out and all was good.. ill see what they did in terms of replacing fluids.. i know i got new spark plugs and obviously the oil then so im thinkin they might have done some fluids too along with that routine stuff.. thanks for the heads up though David appreciate it!
