Default exhaust diameter/performance

i need exhaust. borla is the cheapest but i want the max performance from it so i think i should just save and get the milltek cause it is 2.75 i am also kinda confused on the borla size some sites say 2.25 and some say 2.5 what is the size? what is stock size by the way. who has these exhaust and how do ther perform, sound is also important but im mainly interested in performance

I have an APR 2.5" I love it, nice deep mellow sound.

Though alot of people like the Borla . Borla is 2.25" I believe.

I wouldn't go too high. While larger exhaust will decrease back pressure, expecially at high revs, it can result in loos of low end torque.

Unlike some other pieces of equipment, bigger is NOT always better.

I have a custom milltek catback and i love it. It is deep and isn't too loud. Yes it is more expensive but in my case it was my only option because im frontrak. My friend has the borla on his s4 and it looks like crap, borla is pretty good dont get me wrong but he couldn't get it to fit any better and the tips stick out like 4-6".
