I just went over a snow bank today and now my car sounds like a diesel truck which is kinda cool but anyways i looked under there and its looks like right after or at the downpipe where that mesh stuff is its ripped whats the easiest cheapest way to deal with this do i need a new downpipe or will some exhaust tape work? O on another note i got to use my audi in the snow this weekend for the first time i will never again drive anything else in the winter its incredible i just cant belive the control.

 

It is called a flex pipe. Any exhaust/muffler shop can weld in a new section. Exhaust tape wont work.
