exhaust resonator?

i have a buddy who works at a muffler shop. he said he'd take a resonator off my 2.8 and it would give it a better sound, even with the stock muffler. has anyone done this before?

i think it might be louder, but dont do it. You can buy a nice magnaflow for 150, then replace ur stock muff and take off the stock resonator or leave it on.

Cyberlogix removed his resonator and he said that it wat totally worth it and that it sounded pretty good, go for it!
