I know I have read about this in other posts but I forget now what was said. See what a search brings up for you.

Most likely:

Fuel leak (before engine)

Exhaust leak (after engine)

ok so ive been complaining about my exhaust smell and today while driving i noticed that maybe its not exhaust maybe its fuel. omfg, what a potent smell of fuel i had in my cabin this morining. did not smell like exhaust at all, i had to open up my windows just so i can breathe. i also noticed that i have been burning a good amount of fuel as well. can one be related to the other? where can i check for a fuel leak if thats the case?

thanks your nooby friend
