I know you guys love to hear about different exhaust systems, how the look, yet more importantly how they feel and how they sound. well i will hopefully get a sound clip or video up this weekend maybe sooner. on thursday im getting a custom exhaust made for my car, its a full 2.5 mandrel bent pipe from the turbo back, no cat. Im using a Turbo muffler(flowmaster i believe) just a generic good muffle and decent flow. im not sure how its gonna sound in this application, im predicting it will be a bit louder, much more grunt tone, shouldn't have any buzz. if its too loud/buzzy im putting in a resonator, and if thats no good then in goes another muffler haha. im also putting in a section of flex pipe to make sure this lasts a long time for me. It was going to be done today, but he was out of 2.5 in flex pipe, so it had to wait.

im hoping for some decent power gains with this system, full 2.5, no cat, smooth bends, and pretty high flow muffler, im gonna guess around 15hp, what do you guys think?

here are my mods so far; neuspeed chip, K&N panel filter, n75 J, forge dv. so what do you guys think about added power with the full exhaust?

there are some other mods planned for the future, man the bug bit hard this time.

 

well dude, 15 hp is a lil much on a stock ko3..im guessing around 8 hp..maybe 10-15 torque....your *** dyno will go nuts tho, i love testpipes...any one have a vag thats near me? milwaukee WI.

 

where do u live? cus make sure u dont have emissions other wise u will have to go back and have a cat put in
