EXPERT advice needed***
3" is way too big for the little k03. You need some back pressure for the k03 to operate right. I would only use 3" exhaust on a really BT.. .25" makes a big difference in exhaust flow/back pressure, and you went up a whole inch from stock. I think you would still have problems even with a mbc, or a n75 race valve that limits spiking. If you dont want to change the dia. of the exhaust, you better be looking at a BT if you want things to run right. Shoulda used the search first!
thanks dude, this is the kind of info i was looking for. i've learned from my current & past turbo cars bigger is better ie 3". this is my 1st audi i've modded & assumed it would be o.k. yes i have a 3" ss cat delete with the non fouler mod. check engine light has not been a problem at all. it's just that dam fuel cut. what do you think about flashing or chipping my ecu ? bigger injectors ?
installing that 3" cat delete was a major pita. what if i uninstalled the 3" exhaust & leave the cat delete then reinstall a 2.5" exhaust ?
