Default F&ck!n pissed

Ok so i noticed my coolant resvoir was dropping dramtically with no signs of leakage....
I decided to take it into the shop only to realize the freakin coolant has been making its way into the engine.
Theres signs of coolant and oil mixed together under my oil pan.

I need help. What do u think is wrong? Blown head gasket? Is my engine hooped or can i recover from this?

if its in the cylinders (you can see that with the lugs out), its most likely the head gasket.

Not sure how bad it is. You should be able to just get a new gasket and other misc parts and swap it out after cleaning out the cyl's. Since there is no coolent in the oil, it should be ok. Im sure auditech79 will sure

Thats a relief. I am waiting on the independant warranty company called global to asses my situation and give go ahead for the fix. They better live up to there warranty policies because i am covered for everything internally lubricated in the engine, turbos, bearing etc.

I've bought 2 cars (not Audis) with blown headgaskets that people just walked away from, assuming that's a death certificate. After repair and a flush and fill, they're as good as new, and I sold them for a profit on Craigslist... It just depends on how long coolant has been in the oil. In your case, it sounds like not long, if at all. It should make a full recovery.

How many miles and what engine (sounds like the 1.8t)?

It does sound like a bad head gasket if water is in the oil...depending on how long you've been driving the car this way, you can replace the gasket, flush everything and it should be as good as new...Has the car ever run really hot? Are you running stock boost? It could be a number of things that could have caused a blown head gasket..

You might want to try and figure out why this happened in the first place so you can prevent it from happening again.
