Fed up with Condensation!!

Fed up with Condensation!!
Like other members have reported, I've had problems with condensation in the headlight covers. Again like others I've been told by Audi that this is "normal" and that they won't do anything about it.
This fall as the weather has turned crappy the condensation is back, with a vengence. Despite running with lights on 100% of the time, I've had condensation non-stop for about 3 weeks. What I wanted to know was - has anyone successfully gotten Audi to fix or replace their headlights? If so I'd appreciate it if you would tell me how you did it.
Thanks

RE: Fed up with Condensation!!
I was told by Audi of Canada, and 2 other Audi dealerships that the headlights are vented and non-sealed headlights so a little condensation is normal. And that the condensation will burn off after a few minutes of driving. In your case though, seems like there's something wrong that you have condensation for 3 weeks straight. If you could keep this updated I would like to know how this ends up.

RE: Fed up with Condensation!!
The problem the dealers have is that audi wont pay them to do anything about it. And in most cases theres not much they can do about it. Theres a tech bullitin stating its normal and not to attempt to fix it. You can take the assembly out and check the seals to make sure they are ok as water getting in would cause excessive condesation. Also make sure the vents arent pluged up with leaves or such. You can also try taking it out and putting it someplace dry to try and get rid of as much mosisture as posible.
