i have a very slow oil leak that doesnt drip but actually only blows back when i am driving and usually blows onto my exhaust. i have recently replaced my oil filter housing gaskets and i think i see a leak coming from the valve cover. is this common in a 1997 1.8t/quattro? what are other possible common leaking spots on these models? i recently did timing belt and did the cam seals

Valve cover gasket leak is common.

I'll be helping a friend fix one this or next week.

Also the camshaft adjuster gasket on the back of the head.
