Engine is knocking.
What gas are you using?
Try using the proper Octane gas from mainline retailers.
If that doesn't work, try a cleaner such as Seafoam, or Techron.
Failing that, move to the next higher grade of gas.

well i cleared to codes before i put in the sensor by a few days, then it came back after i put o2 sensor by 2 days, which is today.. should i clear them? or ???
also i must note, i do tend to hear a kocking noise from the engine, sounds like its comming from under the spark plugs or there abouts...
what now people???

to reset the ecu could i just remove the negative or do i have to remove the positive too? also im not very clear on how removing the battery will get rid of pinging?
Those codes are usually associated with bad O2 sensors. To reset the ECU you just unplug the ground (negative). I really can't tell you if it will do anything, it's a stab in the dark. I am only guessing that your ECU has learned settings and now that you have new O2 sensors in there they don't match the ECU's stored data, causing bad idle. Reseting the ECU when I changed my o2 sensors made a big difference in the idle behavior. Less erratic/more stable.
Make sure you have your radio safe code too.

okay ill do that tomarrow morning, hope it makes a difference with the idle somehow, when i did a throttle body alignment after i changed o2 sensor ive noticed better idle, not 100% but better...
does resetting the ecu reset all error codes too? or do i have to reset with vag first?
thanx again
