wait... whats that mean? haha im tryin to learn these phrases and abreviations lol i looked in the noob section but that one wasnt in there
Back in the mid 90's Audi built a 2.8l V6 that had 12 valves in the head (hence calling it the 12v) and it is by far one of the slowest, and hardest to tune engines Audi ever conceived, so it was in a joking manner because while I make 176HP at the crank and 18x Ft-lbs of torque, the car doesn't like to go fast like I want it too and your 3.0 would smoke me. Also the 12v engine is noted for its reliability and lasting forever (I have 197XXX on mine and it still runs strong). This engine was found in old Audi A6's A4's and I think some of the precursors also.
So when you hear 30v being thrown around it's the 2.8L that came out after the 12v (in 1998) and is a little bit more tuner friendly.
And thats you Audi history lesson for the day.

Stemming from the misspelling of the word "owns", being that the "p" key is right next to the "o" key. It does not mean the possesive "owns", but as in a form of domination, such as in a game or sport.from urban dictionary
