Looking good, man - nic and clean install.

I've done it a couple times now and both have come out pretty good. I gave Bentframe my old one from the sedan. Its not hard for anyone to do this - it was my first try at fiberglassing when I did #1.

#1 - sedan (1998)

#2 - making the one for the avant (2000)

Looking good man. I agree that it's not difficult. It was time consuming and messy but not difficult. Plus if you screw up (which I did several times) get the dremmel tool out and erase your screw up . Probably the best advice I can give is to check for fittness after each layer.

As for the duct tape, you can say waht you want. I used to build sub boxes (granted they were wooden) as a side job. For years, I used silicon until I discovered the magic of duct tape. One layer of duct tape around each seam of a box will seal it, guaranteed or your money back lol.

Built a box for my B6, but out of 3/4" MDF. Plenty of depth to clear the magnet, and enough space to get the air volume I needed. Sounds great too

I think juju's DIY was great, I'm just to tacking on some additional DIY help for future readers. I found this site to be helpful on more than one occasion.

http://www.a4mods.com/index.php?page...es/subbox.html

I rock the symphony setup and have started to consider redoing it. I get crackles out of the driver side tweeters in my B6 soemtimes and it has been driving me nuts. I am wondering if I should pull them out and replace but knowing me, I'll do the entire speakers system over again and leave the stock head unit.

Anyway, nice job juju.
