I love it. I think I got a great deal, 2001.5 a4 1.8tqm with sports package, winter package and premium sound with 58k for $10,000. Black on black. The previous owner babied this car. I'll get some pics up asap. I want to thank everyone who helped me out car shopping.

Now a few questions, (of course). I want to do some preventative maintenance. From searching and reading a lot of the threads here, it seems I'll need to replace coil packs because they tend to go out early? Should I just replace them all now or keep them in my car? I'm not sure how I would know the coilpacks messed up? I guess sputtering of the engine?

Already gave it an oil change. From the looks of it, they fixed the tensioners in the 2000+ models, so the timing belt tends to go out around 80-100k from what I'm reading on this forum and a couple others.. So I think I'll replace it around 75 k or so to be safe.

Is there anything else I should do or know? I plan on modifying it and want to make sure everythings in order before I do.

ohh no way i got a 2001.5 a4 1.8tq tip for 11k with 79k miles, still need to replace timing belt and never heard anything about the coils, although i have a mysterious oil leak. its not the filter its coming from near the boot on the left front wheel. any ideas? did i get jiffed?
