Well after months of lurking here and dreaming of having an A4 I finally pick mine up tomorrow!

'98 A4 Quattro 2.8L Tiptronic Sunroof, winter package, bose system, 79,000 miles $8300 The timing belt is brand new, the control arms have been done, new brakes, rubber is in excellent condition. Car is very clean.

Tomorrow afternoon can't come quick enough!!

Unbelievable!!! I've had the car for less than 24 hrs and I absolutely love it!!! So far it's everything I expected and more. I'm coming from driving an old beat up full size Bronco so this is a huge change for me.

Now...what happened....this morning on my way to work I turn down a side street to find a van racing up the block in reverse right towards me!! I slam on the brakes and am instantly rear ended by a jerk who was right on my tail!!! I couldn't believe it! Fortunately just my bumper took the hit and appears to be his paint more than anything. I didn't suffer any dents or anything but I might have lost a little paint. To say I was furious is an understatement. Now I have to break out the compound tonight.

Oh well, I still love the car and can't wait to take my first road trip!

 

That sounds like a good deal. Sorry about your luck. Id say thats about 263 steps up from a bronco! Even if its totaled!

 

Man, what a bad deal. Some people just don't have good luck. Make his insurance pay for it and go to a body shop.

Thanks for the well wishes. I should be able to clean the bumper up pretty good with compound. So far my love affair with this car continues, I never realized what I was missing! Expensive gas or not I just keep looking for excuses to get out and drive it.
