Default finding parts

so i did end up getting a '99 audi a4 1.8T quattro... it's soo sweet . My headlights are so weak though!! The owner said they were xenon lights, but they sure don't seem like it..perhaps they need new bulbs.

Anyway, I was wondering where I could find parts for my car online. I want to take a look at headlights, body kits, wheels/tires. I can't seem to find any good site to find these.

Also, when does the turbo kick in? It doesn't feel like my car accelerates fast at all.. I'm too scared to pull in front of moving traffic because of this...any suggestions about what upgrades I should do to improve this?

thanks!

he probably meant to say they are the 'xenon effect' bulbs, which are actually halogen, not xenon, but they have a tiny bit of xenon gas inside the bulb to give them a slight xenon look....do you have a 99 or a 99.5? if you have two-piece headlights (96-99), you should really consider swapping them for the 99.5+ one-piece projector headlights made by valeo. e-codes (euro spec headlights) will give you even better light output, and true xenon will give you the best light output. www.oemhid.com is a great place to get a xenon conversion kit for the stock halogen headlights.

or maybe he has the HID and the bulbs are old. On my friends lexus, when the bulbs are so old they lose lighting qualities and become extremely dim

I have a '99

thanks for your help

I have been pressing the button on my front console to turn on the extra fog(?) or driving(?) lights...that's the only way I can see at night when I drive
