I have a 1993 audi S4 that I bought about 2 months ago. I want to bolt on some performance parts to give it a little bit more zing but I've been striking out everywhere. It's basically a familiy car so I don't want to go too nuts. I just want a cat back exhaust 2.5-3" w/ a high flow cat, and a cold air intake for it. I want to keep the rest mainly stock because it's a family car but I'm having no luck finding these parts. Another thing I want but I don't even know if they make for this car is a set of window rain guards, or vents, or whatever you want to call them. I don't know if they even make them for this car or not. Any help on a good website that has parts like this for this car would be greatly appreciated.

 

I'd start by using the search function and seeing what other folks are doing. For exhaust and such there's apr and ecs. Just do some google searches as well as hang around here and on audizine.com to read about what other folks are doing with their cars.

 

None of those websites offer much on a 1993 S4. Only newer ones. So if you know of any other that are reliable would be great.

Also, I'm looking for Vent Visors for my windows on the car. Can't find them anywhere at all. I found a company that makes them for a 1993 audi 100 quattro, but not the S4. From what it looks like in the pics to me, they're the exact same car on the outside. Obviuosly different drivetrain, but exterior wise, it seems exactly the same which tells me that they would work on my car. I called the company and they didn't know. Anybody know? Firstly, I would go to http://www.audifans.com/ and join the mailing list there, and ask the people (VERY knowledgable) on there about your vent visor issue. For performance parts, check http://www.034motorsport.com/ or http://www.2bennett.com/

or you could always check the marketplace on the audifans site... that is basically the craigslist for older audis.

oh, and the BEST exhaust you can get for the UrS4/S6 is the Stromung Sport exhaust... full 3" with custom downpipe and high flow cat... sweet!
