First Audi and a few questions!
The ablity to take your lights off auto is a combination of a million different reasons. You install new lights and wanna check em in the day, You wanna leave the car on and kill your lights I mean its kinda a no brainer. My car has a lot of wind noise too, I was told by an old Audi man once that it was something with my side mirror and the wind how it hits it or something. I really wanna see some pics of your car.
Thanks all.
Found the manual
Just not the middle switch IN the manual.
As to wind noise, decided the tires are louder than the wind noise, so I'm not going to worry about it.
Bought a digital tire gauge that seems to work well from Monkey Grip.
Still can't find the color code, but dealer tells me its Dolphin Gray so I'll stop looking for that.
Will shoot pics this weekend and post, for sure.
Love the car. Rides and handles fabulously.
Did notice that the gas gauge does not seem linear. On my first tank and got about 150 miles to the half way mark. Possible that odometer is not accurate though. Last car mileage round trip to the airport was 54 miles. This car was 40 on the nose. Hard to belive that much difference. I have been looking for highway mileage markers to compare.
Could be with the 18 inch wheels that the Speedo is not callibrated for it, but I'd have a hard time believing that this is not factory stock. Never did see the window sticker, but no reason to belive that the dealer changed anything on the car. It has the steering wheel, rear spoiler, front lowered airdam and grille and seems to be what the UltraSport package is.
As to lights, I was just wondering if folks left it in auto mode on the switch. Seems so convenient, yet there are so many light position options. If they really turn on at dusk and off at light, then in auto they shall saty.
And 5,000 sounds reasonable for oil changes.

Well, best I can tell it is off about 10%. Will have it checked at first service. If they can check it.
Someone asked for pictures - so here you go. Freshly washed. Wish I had a garage

Ultrasport wagon... Wow. One of the nicest b6's I've ever seen, and its stock!
And yeah, b6's are plagued by road noise (tires) not wind noise... b5's have quite the opposite... wind noise sucks on b5's.

Thanks! I do love this car.
And you may be right on the odo. Funny how I can't find any mileage markers on the highways to check against. You don't think it might not be calibrated for the 18" wheels?
