I have a friend who bought the same car you did, Ultrasport, every option but nav, a sedan, for 41,xxx new. Maybe more, but that's the number I remember. So yeah, you swung a good deal, unless there's something severely wrong with the car.

 

I'd just take it to get tested just incase.

I figure the car was 30,500. $3k for Ultrasport, 1000 radio, 700 Xenon, 2000 premium - unless the leather and sunroof, etc is part of the ultrasport package? Cold weather what, $500?


So that should be 37,700 plus freight and CA Emissions.

Am I missing anything? Correct in the Ultrasport price?

And, does the dealer have a way to test the odometer or does one need a speed shop?

Found mileage markers today and it is off. About a 10th every 3 miles. Maybe a tad more.

But have a question on my first problem with the car!

First day with the air conditioning working hard and my Bose / Audi Symphony kept pumping tryingto raise the volume. Very annoying!

Can not find a setting for this. How do I adjust it or defeat this "feature"?

Ok, its the Bose Dynamic Noise something and there are no adjustments. It was obnoxious today.

Any way to disable this?

 

Are you talking about road noise or wind noise? Is it a constant drone?

 

No, no , no. This is the radio trying to pump the volume up over the air conditioner when it is on full bore. It is very annoying. Tries once or twice a second. Can not be defeated the manual tells me.

 

Nice ride man. B6 !. Umm since its such a new car man, arent u still under warranty??? why dont u take full advantange of that. Tell them wat the prob is (The noise) and then can check it out. I mean if its from outside then nothing, but ig its from the speakers or wat not, then send it in man.
