Jest -

Tried your approach. Got my euro vanity plate, ord the rare earth mags, and found out that the trim piece on the S4 cab bumper is not magnetic. Looks like I'm stuck drilling holes in it to mount the bracket. Ugh.

I think you were supposed to glue some magnets on the inside of the bumber.. then some on the vanity plate..

ur right redgoat. U put them on each side of the bumper to make them magnetic. Bumpers are not steel they r plastic.

No, I didn't drill it yet. Will try to put magnets on inside of trim piece. Appreciate the help...
