Default First time radiator ?

Hey hey, i want to change my radiator but i've never dealt with radiator hoses. If the radiator i have needs new clamps how do i know what size to get? I could measure the diameter or course but is there a standard for this?

You shouldn't need new clamps but if you need new ones just use the screw clamp types which are much better anyways. Car manufactures don't use them because of cost.

Of course, thanks. One more thing, should i replace thermostat and coolant temp sensor at the same time? I shouldn't unless their dead but if i'll be able to get at them easy and their not expensive... Just trying to think ahead.

The thermostat is behind the timing belt so you shouldn't worry about that until you hit 80k then replace everything all at once. You can get a repair kit at www.ecstuning.com
The coolant temp sensor is good to change if it has a black casing, you want either a green or blue one.

thermostat is part of the timing belt change so not yet. but if u think u need to change ur timing belt, might as well do it while u got the front end half off. u can change the ECT though. it's on the passenger side behind the engine. go to audiworld.com and they have a superb writeup. dam he beat me!!!
