you mean the Turbo Outlet hose? Most people run the stock one

 

hmm i thought iwas called a charge pipe, but yeah the one right out of the turbo which the DV hose attaches to, i'll get a pic of mine tomorrow.

 

its rubber is OEM.. it will work fine the charge pipe IIRC is the pipe going to the intake manifold

dude, i don't think you're understanding what Karl is meaning by IAT logs..

its a air temperature sensor that is in your throttle body. it logs the "Intake Air Temperature" in Celcius into the ECU. you can retrieve it with a VAG cable

 

ahhh,i see,, haha i don't have a vag-com or cable though, but iw as thinking of just getting some gauges to monitor the intake air temp real time, so you don't have to get the vag com, it would be interesting to put two sensors in there, one before the intercooler and one after, just to see the diff

 

guages would be pointless.. you want to log the data so it will save in an excel sheet and you can compare everything by the numbers..

you should so paint the fmic and piping in camo paint too. it would be stealthy

 

haha ehhh, i love the paint, but i think i'm going ot repaint it something crazy but glossy after winter, and if i paint the IC then there is no going back, wehre as the shiny metal goes with any color.

Edit: btw, does anyoen have any extra little bumper headlight sprayer covers? just realized that i have a hole there lol, and its not symetric.
