sry o steal a thread, but is that FMIC big enough to run a BT? I need a FMIC before i go BT but i dont want to have to buy a S4 bumper

 

no. it looks perfect for a k03/k04. but for BT(depending on what psi your running daily) it's not going to be large enough..

you can fit a large enough FMIC behind the stock bumper. but a lot of it is going to be behind the crash bar(which will have to be cut up btw).

 

ya it looks sick. even with the missin headlight washer cover as usual hahahahaha

 

mmm okay. im defanitly going for a gt28rs setup. i guess ill have to wind up getting a new S4 bumper and getting it painted sooner or later...

I'm thinking of that one too, but this is the first i heard that you need a fmic so big that you gotta chop the crashbar or get a s4 bumper.
anyone know what brand fmic to get that isn't so ghetto of an install and comes with mounting brackets made for the a4? and will cool a gt28rs enough for occasional abuse? thanx

 

yeah, it deff kept the power consistantly and didn't fade away when the turbo started glowing,

haha what too much KuStoM for ya? haha it does the job and not like you can see it with the bumper on haha, but even with this little one, i had to cu away at a good portion of the crash bar so that it didn't rub up against the intercooler and grind a hole in it after a week lol.

i don't know if i'm ready for that kind of power yet haha, but maybe if i put like BF Goodrich stickers on i will get better tractioin in the dirt?
