Default FOG LIGHTS FRONT & BACK

Me again. I know I had a previous post about my fog lights, now i can't find it to add to the questions.
On my other post I ask about the fog lights not working, I've had some advice..I checked the wiring in the front..and I notice the back fog lights are both out as well..i"m wondering could it be the fuse that is blown that causes the fog light too all go at once...why I suspect that is the Rear defrost button besides it works..and all the fog lights go at once...if itz a bad connection wouldn't the rear defrost not work as well.
Would any of you guys know where the fuse box is??...I can't seem to locate it....normally cars have it under the steering column.

First of all, your car has only one fog light, on the left side. There is no fog light on the right side, although there are ppl on this forum who have added a second fog light to the right side. As far as locating the fuse box, you'll find it on the left side of the dash. You have to open the door to get to it... it's a vertical panel with a notch in it. Just stick a key in the notch, twist, and you'll find your fuses.

Thanks, but wat do you mean by the car only has 1 fog light??...when I use to turn on the fog light..both
inner bulbs (H1) light up..and also the rear upper light, lights up...but now they all don't work...I'll try to check the fuse first...my ride is a 1998 A4 2.8l Quattro.

What I meant to say was your car has one fog light in the back (obviously 2 in the front). Your first post mentioned "fog lights" in the back. If your fuses are all OK, you may have a bad headlight switch.

I could be wrong here but isn't there a relay on the passenger side? There's a DIY for front fog mod around somewhere that shows you where it is. In Theory if you jump the right pins you can test to see if your relay if bad.

FYI I'm a 98 1.8t Qdriver. I'm not sure if this applies to 2.8s.
