Default Back Fog Lights?

Hi im new here i just got my A4 about 3 days ago, and i noticed then my back fog lights one of them was out. so i opend the thing and saw that there wasnt a light in the socket, so i tried a bunch of bulbs and nothing would work. thats when i looked in the socket part the metal clip where the bottom of the bulb would tuoch was missing, so then i put a bulb in there and then tried to put it in the bulbs back into the taillights and the top one where my fog would be the wole is to small, was never rounded out.

so i have 2 questions
Am i even supposed to have a rear fog light on my passenger side?
and if so do i have to relace the whole ight thing that holds the lights in because that metal peice is missing?
orr can i just get that little metal connector somewhere?

Thanks

If both of them are on, it looks like brake lights.

That is why only the driver's side goes on. Check any other European car such as other Audis, MB, Saab, Volvo.

i tinted my tails which made my lights slightly dimmer, so i did the dual rear fog conversion, it's extremely easy as long as you have a dremel or similar power tool. it's already wired for and everything, just drill out the hole in your taillight. it doesn't look like brake lights imo, but i have mine tinted, so i don't know about stock tails.

well i got a story that has a lot to do with this. I thought my light bulb was out too, so i went to audi and the guys like ur whole unit must be out or something. So im about to pay like 50 bucks, but im like maybe i should ask the technician too. I ask him and hes like laughing at me. Hes like all european cars have one fog light that works in the back. i was like wtf. i felt like a dumb ***. i also thought my reverse gear was effed up, but he told me that i had to PUSH down on the the **** to change gears to reverse. another bad moment. lol [&o]

Don't modify you car with non DOT specs. If someone rear ends you, and has a smart lawyer who has a GOOD look at your car, you could end up with a law suit.
