RE: Foglights on Without Headlights
please do a search before posting, there is alot of information about this floating around on this forum and vagcoms site and other audi guides.
But to answer your question. it can be done on both B5 and B6, i'm not sure about B7. B5 can be done with just vagcom. the B6 can be done a few ways, you can vag it and do some modification to the back of the light switch, or you can do just a physical modification, but it requires more modification then just the switch you also need to add some resistors and splices behind the dash, i don't remember the specifics. Again, do a search and you will find what you need, there are so many DIY guides for the A4s and more so for the 1.8t since it's used in VWs also.

RE: Foglights on Without Headlights
Ok so I figured out how to do it from a few DIY from AW/AZ/AF. But what I'm seeing is that people say that the rear fogs come on as well when you do the mod to make the fronts come on. Is this true? The rear fog will come on when you activate the front independently?
