Found BOV.. DV in my car!??!
Bought my 99 a4 1.8t like 7 months ago and now i am currently replacing the catalytic converter and downpipe cuase they are shot... but during the reaplcement I noticed a turboxs BOV.. DV???? Did some reading and found those are not recommended for my vehical.... Is that one ok??? or should i rever back to stock???
if it is a turboxs type 25 (rbv-25), then it is made specifically for a VAG car. check here
the DV has nothing to do with being rich. Its purpose is to relieve pressure between the throttle body and the turbo when you let off the gas so you dont stall out the turbo. maybe you are chipped I would look into that. Running rich is probably what killed the cat too
