Agreed the tip is WAYYY to slow...
I alwasy just put my car into sport i see no reason for tip
all it does is make me sad...
O and a ?
if you dont shift will tip upshift for you or only downshift?

I just chipped My 02 18t avant tippy ... and yeah I was pissed when I was in tip mode .. mashed on the gas .... and the damn thing downshifted on me ... freakin redlined the shizzy outta me. But ... I have gotten used to it now, basically you have to learn where your shift point is .. mine is about 1/4 inch before the pedal hits the floor ..... once you get used to it ..... tip mode works really well. I use it when ever I want to drive quick .... S mode just shifts way too much for me. LONG LIVE THE TIPPY!!!

You can disable kickdown while in tip mode with vag com.. So if you are in tip mode in 2nd gear and you floor it you wont go into 1st and redline. I HAD to do it to mine it was getting so annoying.
