Anyone have any ideas on ridding my car of the front license plate? It's not required in Louisiana and I think the car looks much better without it.

there's a mount that's screwed into the bumper I think. you'll want to take that off too.

the only thing you can do is take it to a body shop, and get them to fill the holes... or get a euro plate to cover it

 

so it is possible to get them to get rid of the screw holes without replacing the bumper or something crazy like that? Any clue as to what something like that might cost?

they can just fill the holes with, well, filler. you're probably looking at a couple hours labour, plus the cost of paint to match your car. if you feel adventurous it's probably something that you can do yourself, although you may want to just play it safe and fork out the cash to have it done professionally.

 

its not just filler, they would have to use a plastic welder, to fill the holes, then grind it down, and paint
